the pilgrimage continuesPosted: April 7, 2015
Terry and I knew that we were committed to our new direction once we accepted the offer on our house here in Gilroy. There was no turning back at that point. So it was our intention not to come back from our trip to Hemet last week without having made an offer on a house. That is what happened.
We’re pleased with the house we found. It is in the gated 55+ Four Seasons Community in which we had narrowed our search. It is vacant, clean, and ready to move into. It has a spacious office area for me, and the second bedroom will work well as an office for Terry. The master bedroom is big, and there is plenty of room in the master bath. The kitchen has plenty of counter space and a gas cooktop. There are ceiling fans.
We are scheduled to close on May 1st, my late Grandma Monaghan’s birthday.
We hate giving up the house we have, but we will do very well in our new one.
The pilgrimage, indeed, continues.
