I’m getting into the groove with my simplified pizza, and Terry and I both enjoy it.
I’ve taken to replacing mushrooms with artichoke hearts and that works out well. On my most recent foray I used 25% whole wheat flour, not because that was the plan, but because I didn’t notice I was so low on all-purpose flour. I gave the pizza and extra five minutes in the oven due to the whole wheat flour, and that worked. As a change of pace I bought mild Italian sausage instead of standard pork sausage. Terry enjoyed that. For that matter, so did I.
I think simplified pizza can become a regular part of our Friday dinner rotation.
